Kari Sawin
M.S., CCC-SLP
Owner & Speech-Language Pathologist
Hi, I'm Kari — the owner and primary therapist at KASA. I live and practice speech-language pathology in Southeastern Massachusetts, and I've spent the last 14 years dedicated to helping children find their voice.
After graduate school, I worked with the geriatric population in skilled nursing facilities, providing cognitive-communication, aphasia, and swallowing therapy. After three years in healthcare, I made the leap to pediatrics — and I've never looked back.
My work in pediatrics has been primarily in the elementary public school setting for 10+ years. As a mother of two young children, I bring care, compassion, and patience to my practice that only a parent could. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, reading, and dreaming up my next travel adventure!
